MANCHESTER CITY will sell forward Carlos Tevez to Inter Milan this summer and use the proceeds to sign Dutch midfielder Wesley Sneijder from the Italian club.

BULGARIAN striker Dimitar Berbatov could be set for an £8m return to Tottenham this summer after talks on extending his contract at Manchester United stalled.

MEANWHILE, Spurs manager Harry Redknapp will launch a double swoop for West Ham midfielder Scott Parker and Chelsea forward Didier Drogba.

LIVERPOOL boss Kenny Dalglish has a transfer shortlist including Bolton defender Gary Cahill, Everton leftback Leighton Baines and Aston Villa wingers Stewart Downing and Ashley Young after being told he has a £50m budget for next season. However, Baines could be the subject of a £15m bid from Manchester City. And Cahill is also wanted by Tottenham.

DALGLISH is planning “up to 22 deals” in and out of the club this summer as he looks to revamp his squad. Rennes winger Sylvain Marveaux is expected to be the first of many young arrivals, identified as talent that can be developed, when the transfer window reopens in June.

SUNDERLAND and Stoke want to sign former Manchester United and Real Madrid striker Ruud van Nistelrooy, who is currently with German club Hamburg.
